Chocolate Cake Recipes




Chocolates and cakes are everybody’s favorite. Today I compiled both of them and came up with four different chocolate cake recipes.

Things 



For the cake

225g/8oz plain flour
350g/12½oz caster sugar
85g/3oz cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 free-range eggs
250ml/9fl oz milk
125ml/4½fl oz vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
250ml/9fl oz boiling water

For the chocolate icing

200g/7oz plain chocolate
200ml/7fl oz double cream

 Method


Preheat your oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Grease with oil and line two 20cm/8in sandwich tins.

For the cake, put all of the cake ingredients, except the boiling water, into a large mixing bowl. You can use any wooden spoon, or electric whisk beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.

Add the boiling water to the mixture, little by little at a time, until smooth. (The cake mixture will now be very liquid.)

Divide the cake batter now between the sandwich tins and bake in the oven for 25–35 minutes, or until the uppermost is firm to the touch and a pin inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Remove the cakes now from the oven and allow it to cool completely, still in their tins, before icing. 

Do not touch it while it is too hot.

For the chocolate icing, heat the chocolate (you can also heat it by double boiler process) and cream in a saucepan over a low heat until the chocolate melts completely. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the mixture gently until smooth, glossy and thickened.

Set it aside to cool for 1–2 hours, or until thick enough to spread over the cake smoothly.

To assemble the cake, run a good round-bladed knife around the inside of the cake tins to loosen the cakes. Carefully remove the cakes from the tins.

Spread a few chocolate icing over the top of one of the chocolate cakes, then cautiously top with the other cake.

Now transfer the cake to a serving plate and ice the cake all over with the chocolate icing, using a palette knife, or whatever thing is available to you

Serve the cake to your loved ones when it is settled


 Dark Chocolate Cake Recipe

150 gr butter 

200 gr sugar 

5 beaten eggs 

125 gr flour
 
100 gr cocoa powder 


2 teaspoons of baking powder 

75 gr cornstarch 

500 ml milk cream
 
Enough whip cream to decorate the cake 

Canned cherries

Preparation

Beat butter with sugar until creamy gradually add eggs sifted flour cocoa, powder, baking powder, cornstarch, and milk cream keep beating with an electric mixer until obtaining a creamy and smooth batter.
Butter pan with oil and pour batter on the pan, bake the cake for 45 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let the cake cool down. Decorate with whip cream and canned cherries, refrigerate the cake for 2 hours before serving.

Chocolate Peach Cake Recipe

Timing: 35 minutes

Ingredients

150 gr butter 

150 gr sugar 

4 egg yolks 

150 gr chocolate
 
250 gr flour 

2 teaspoon of baking powder 

2 teaspoon of milk
 
4 beaten egg whites

Frosting

1 cup of canned peach 

3 teaspoons of rum 

1 slice of canned pineapple 

Enough whip cream to covert the cake

Preparation

In a small bowl beat, butter and sugar until creamy gradually add egg yolks keep beating add chocolate, sifted flour, baking powder, and last milk and beaten egg whites beaten until obtaining a creamy batter.
Butter the pan with butter or oil; pour the chocolate batter on the pan bake for 35 minutes.
Cut chocolate cake in 2 layers cover the inside layer with canned peach, rum, and canned pineapple, decorate the chocolate cake with whip cream refrigerate the cake for 2 hours before serving.

Chocolate Spice Cake Recipe

Timing: 35 minutes

Ingredients 

150 gr butter 

300 gr sugar 

4 eggs

100 gr chocolate 

2 teaspoons of baking powder 

6 teaspoons of milk 

1 teaspoon of cinnamon and clover 

A pinch of nutmeg and pepper

Preparation

In a small cooking bowl beat, butter and sugar until creamy gradually add eggs, chocolate flour, baking powder, and spices, beat all the ingredients until obtaining a creamy batter.
Butter the pan with butter or oil, pour the batter on the pan, and bake for 35 minutes remove from the oven and let the cake cold down before serving.

Chocolate Nut Cake Recipe

Timings: 40 minutes


Ingredients

4 egg yolks 

2 teaspoons of sugar 

65 gr sugar 

2 beaten egg whites 

50 gr flour and cornstarch
 
30 gr cocoa powder 

1 teaspoon of baking powder 

30 gr grated nuts 

Enough chocolate frosting to cover the cake

Frosting

2 egg whites 

125 gr glazed sugar 

50 gr chocolate 

Syrup 

Glazed sugar

Preparation

In a cooking bowl beat 2 teaspoons of sugar and egg yolks and beat until creamy, add 65 gr of sugar and keep beating for 3 more minutes gradually add beaten egg whites, sifted flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder,  baking powder, and grated nuts, mix all the ingredients until obtaining a creamy and smooth batter.
Butte pan with butter and pour the chocolate batter on the pan, bake for 40 minutes.
Beat egg whites with sugar in a double saucepan beat until obtaining a creamy sauce gradually chocolate and butter and keep beating until the sauce looks creamy remove from the fire and add syrup. 
Cut the cake in 2 layers and cover the insides layer of the cake with Sauce, decorate the cake with chocolate sauce, refrigerate the cake for 2 hours before serving.
